I believe that every new year is a opportunity to create new challenges and improve your personal proyects. In brief, it is a good moment to learn a lot.   In my personal case, I would like to do a lot of thing this year. To start, I want to improve my english. Since some years ago, I have been trying to learn enhlish, but I think that I didn`t be constant. This year, I will try to study english more frequently than last year. About music, I have a lot of challenges ofr this year. I would like to improve my jazz language, specially the bebop (specific kind of jazz). For this reason, I need to play a lot with different people. Additionally, I would like to improve my piano technique and learn some new music pieces. As well, I am going to do a lot of ‘’ear training’’ excersises, like transcription of melody and harmony. Other personal challenge could be try to be more organized than last year. When I was seventeen years old, I had the fortune to traveled around Europe with my family (my mother and my aunt). We traveled for three weeks. We visited diferente cities of Italy, France and Spain. When we were in Italy, we stayed five days in Rome, two days in Florence, two days in Milan, and two days more in Venice. I loved Rome, this city is a big museum. Rome has a lot of historical places and buildings like Coliseum, Palatino, Panteon, Fontana di Trevi, etc. About Florence, this city has many renaissance arts and very nice architecture. Respect Milan, this place is a modern city, but its Duomo is a really nice gothic biulding. To finally, Venice is a oneiric city, is like to be in a dream. In France, We stayed for five days and only visited Paris. This was my favorited city of the trip. Paris has a lot of history places and awesome museums. The greatest for me was Louvre. I would like visiting New York, because I really want to listen Jazz music that do in this place. For me honest, when I travel, I love to visit the history places of cities that I stay. But, in this case, New York doesn’t interest me, maybe for a personal prejuice with United States. However, New York has nice places to visit, for example: Central Park, a lot of museums, High Line, etc. About Jazz, New York has many historical clubs like Village Vanguard, Blue Note, Birdland, etc. A lot of great musicians play ebery night in this clubs. Some of my favorites could be: Kurt Rosenwinkel, Aaron Parks, Chris Potter, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Christian McBride and Michael Brecker. I would like traveling to New York with my cousin. Today, I am going to talk to you about my favorite book. For be honest, I am not a fanatic of literature and expert neither. I prefer read essay. But, there is a specific kind of literature that I love it: dystopian genre, especially classic dystopian books like 1984 of Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 of Bradbury and Brave New World of Huxley. This trilogy created the archetype of dystopian novel. Their topics are about a possible future where, thanks to bad use of technology, politics and economy, the human world will change into horrible place as dictatorship and war. The idea to write about this is that we can reflect on problems of contemporany world. All books aforementioned are awesome, but in my personal opinion the best is Brave New World. I really like this novel because shows a dystopian future where don't govern the militar society that use fear as a control method. For be honest, I don`t have a favorite country. It`s very difficult choose only one, but I will try to do. When I was sixteen years old, I had the fortune to visit Europe. In this trip I fell in love for France, in specific for Paris. I could say that this is my favorite country. There are about seventy millions people living in France. In general, the weather is temperate but depends of specific place the climate could change. For example, in the mountainous zone the weather is very cold. I love history about France, in specific of its revolution (the period that started in 1789). As well as, I love its architecture and its arts, in special impressionist music and picture. In my personal opinion, I consider that english is very important because in global world the people break the country limit with this language. As well as, when anyone has to travel for work or vacations to other country, the english could be a very good tool to communicate with other people. To be honest, along my life the english has been difficult for me. I tried to learn in different times, but I don't manage yet. However, I am going to trying until that I can speak and understand english in a good level. For this reason doing blogs help me a lot to practice, in especial writing and vocabulary. I don't know how much improve my english writing, but I feel a lot of confortable when I have to create a text in this language. Doing a blog all weeks is a very good exercise.
